Justin is excited to be teaching brass at The Music Store. He began playing trumpet in fifth grade and switched to trombone in high school. Over more than two decades, he has performed in ensembles ranging from symphonic and jazz bands to musical theater, concert choir, and jazz choir. Music has always been his safe space and he loves helping others discover that same form of expression. After earning an AA in Music from Sierra College, Justin transitioned into veterinary medicine but continued playing with various groups. While completing a degree in zoology at Colorado State, he performed in the marching band, jazz band, symphonic band, and trombone choir. He looks forward to sharing the many valuable lessons he’s learned throughout his musical journey.
