Steve graduated from Sacramento State University with degrees in trumpet performance, music theory, and composition. He has taught trumpet at all levels, trombone from beginning to intermediate, and beginning to intermediate baritone, tuba, French horn, and piano. His experience includes directing middle and elementary school bands at several schools and serving as adjunct faculty at Sierra College for nearly 20 years, where he taught a variety of music courses. Now retired, he enjoys working with students of all ages and sharing his musical knowledge and experience.
